The P4IT history
In March, the company P4IT was founded as a system house with a focus on networks and mobile data acquisition. The company headquarters were set up in the town of Sprockhövel at Stefansbecke 44. Thanks to our dedicated employees, who have been active in the Auto-ID environment for many years, we quickly achieved our first successes.
Our specialization and focus on software development for mobile solutions in the retail sector has proven its worth. Several experienced programmers are dedicated to the development of systems for stocktaking, price relabeling and backroom inventory management. These solutions have strengthened our position as a leading provider in this area.
Due to our continuous growth, our previous office space was bursting at the seams. The move to Mittelstr. 70 brought with it spacious offices and a separate workshop area, which provided more space and a more productive working environment.
P4IT trains its first IT system administrator.
After successfully completing his training, he joined our team as a professional for network technologies with a focus on wireless LAN.
Retailers are increasingly relying on mobile printers for remarking processes. A partnership with SATO, a manufacturer of professional label printers, rounds off our product range. Their mobile printers are a first-class choice due to their robustness and roll capacity.
Android is the new standard for mobile terminals. New apps and ports of existing software determine the focus of our software development projects. We are one of the first software developers to offer Android-based B2B solutions for retail, warehouses and more.
In our new building at Mittelstr. 7, we are consolidating our offices and former external storage areas for more efficient work processes.
We are starting our collaboration with Code Corporation - a leading barcode scanning technology company specializing in the development of high-quality barcode readers and software. The company offers innovative solutions for various industries such as healthcare, retail and logistics. P4IT adds these to its portfolio and becomes a close partner of Code.
Making printing effortless: with PrintEase, we are introducing a software solution that allows labels to be printed easily and automatically via web services.
Two important trade shows: in 2023 and 2024, we took part in the leading retail events in Düsseldorf with our own booths. At EuroShop, our focus was on the development of individual programming. We demonstrated how customized software solutions sustainably transform the retail sector. At EuroCIS the following year, we presented PrintEase to a wide audience for the first time. Our solutions were met with great interest which confirmed our commitment to future-oriented technologies - we were able to make valuable contacts and present our latest developments to an international audience.
